more about simone

I share my home with my much-loved husband and our humanised 18 year old Burmese cat. I have been blessed with two special children who both live and work in Auckland.

I have enjoyed an active life of exercise, starting classical ballet at age 5 through to my teens along with competitive tennis and badminton and martial arts (ninjitsu) in my twenties. While teaching and raising my children I discovered the transformative effect on my physical, mental and emotional wellbeing through lifting weights, pilates, and yoga stretching. Which lead me to acquire qualifications in each of these disciplines which I continued to practice. This enabled me to train and instruct others, thus providing key tools that unlock each of our inner potential for greater health and happiness.

As a young woman, I had studied and gained qualifications in food science and teaching. With additional and continued post-graduate studies while working in the field of natural health care, medicine and fitness. I eventually started the practice of Body In Sync in 2005. I continue to study to stay current and at the forefront of what science has to offer.
